Have you ever wondered when a hobby stops being a game and becomes a calling?

For me, that happened at the early age of eight years old (give or take), lost in the pixel and digital world of The Sims 2. While others may have been playing house, I was obsessed with the floor plans and build mode. I was decorating and rearranging spaces, unknowingly setting the stage for everything that followed.

Hi, I’m Klaudia, and that childhood spark eventually led me to complete a BA in Architecture. Though my path started with a firm interest in interior design, studying 3D design in college before choosing university, opened my eyes to the bigger picture, ultimately swaying me onto an adjacent path.

Getting through my degree took a heavy dose of grit with plenty of sleepless nights to support it. It was a masterclass in determination and pushing through the strain to the finish line. But even in those hardest hours, I knew there was no other path for me. I’ve always found my greatest energy in the messy and explosive beginnings. The “brains-on-paper” stage where the world is full of possibility and zero limitations. The challenge of then taking said wild idea and developing it into a functional narrative.

That narrative focus often spills into my own private ‘labs’ where I create my own stories, concepts and scenes. I’m fascinated with how world-building works, whether it’s on a page of a fantasy novel, the background of an immersive RPG, or the set design within that new series. I love the process of dreaming up new worlds and then figuring out the logic that makes it tick. It’s about more than just a pretty picture, it’s about creating a place that feels alive.

When the digital world feels a little too loud, I find my balance by the water. There is something about a sunny walk by a canal or the shore that resets my perspective like nothing else. It’s the perfect time to allow my mind to naturally drift into whatever new idea comes next.

Of course, this whole creative engine is strictly tea-powered. I start with one cup, move to two, and usually find my stride somewhere around the fourth.

I’m a designer looking for my next professional chapter. This portfolio is a record of where I’ve been, and I’m excited to see what’s yet to come.
